Our client is a global leader in logistics and supply chain management, providing freight forwarding, customs brokerage, distribution, and consulting services. As they transition from a consultant-heavy Workday Financials team to a full-time, in-house model, they are seeking an experienced Workday Financial Administrator to manage and optimize their Workday Financial Management system.
In this role, you will be responsible for system configuration, financial process automation, and ensuring seamless integrations across multiple business units. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Workday Financials Configuration & Optimization – Configure and maintain Workday Financial Management modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, Expenses, and Procurement.
- Business Process & Workflow Management – Analyze, streamline, and automate financial workflows to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting – Provide expert-level support for Workday Financials, troubleshooting system issues and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Integration Development & Management – Design, develop, and manage Workday integrations using Studio, Connectors, and EIBs to ensure seamless data flow across platforms.
- Financial Data Transformation & Compliance – Implement and maintain Workday Accounting Center, ensuring data integrity, compliance with financial regulations, and accurate journal entry processing.
Here’s what our ideal candidate has:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials, including expertise in General Ledger, AP/AR, Fixed Assets, Expenses, and Procurement.
- Workday Pro Certification in Financials (preferred) – Additional certifications in modules like Procurement, Expense Management, or Adaptive Planning are a plus.
- Strong understanding of Workday integration tools, including Studio, EIBs, Core Connector, and Cloud Connect, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize integrations.
- Experience with Workday reporting tools, including Advanced and Composite Reports.
- Familiarity with Adaptive Planning or other financial planning tools (preferred).
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with finance, HR, and IT teams to align Workday configurations with business objectives.
