Job Description

VMware Optimization Engineer

We are seeking an experienced VMware Optimization Engineer to optimize and manage our VMware vSphere environment. You will be responsible for performance analysis, capacity planning, resource management, automation, and troubleshooting.

Here's what you'll be doing:
  • Monitoring and optimizing VMware performance
  • Managing resource allocation and configuration
  • Automating tasks using PowerCLI or Python
  • Troubleshooting complex VMware issues
  • Collaborating with infrastructure teams
  • Maintaining documentation and staying updated on VMware best practices
Here's what our ideal candidate has:
  • 5+ years of VMware vSphere experience
  • Expertise in ESXi, vCenter, vSAN (preferred), and NSX (preferred)
  • Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerCLI, Python)
  • Knowledge of networking and storage integration
  • VMware certifications (VCP, VCAP) preferred
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
