Sr. Automation Test Engineer
Location: Remote (within the United States)

Compensation: $65/Hour
Our client is seeking a Senior Automation Test Engineer to contribute to their innovative software solutions that are aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of agriculture operations.

Here's what you'll be doing:
- Collaborating with the development team to understand software requirements and designing efficient automation test strategies.
- Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Executing automated tests to identify software defects and report issues accurately.
- Performing regression testing to ensure that new software features do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Utilizing your expertise in vehicle communication systems (CAN, Ethernet, LIN) to ensure seamless integration of software with hardware components.
- Leveraging Vector tools (CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape) to conduct thorough testing of communication protocols and interfaces.
- Contributing to continuous improvement by providing insights into test process optimization and automation enhancements.
Here's what our ideal candidate has:
- 10+ Years of Experience as an Automation QA Engineer / Automation Tester
- Proven experience as an Automation Test Engineer with a focus on automation testing methodologies.
- Strong familiarity with vehicle communication systems, including CAN, Ethernet, and LIN.
- Experience using Vector tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, and CANape.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Experience with using Python (PyTest) for automation testing.
- Ability to work independently, solve complex problems, and drive results in a remote work environment.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
- Prior experience in the agricultural or manufacturing sector is a plus.
