Technical Writer
Our client is looking for a Technical Writer to join their team!
Location: Boise, ID (Hybrid Schedule of 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Pay: $40-$44/hour W2
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Developing, organizing, writing, and editing a variety of technical documentation, including operational guides, maintenance manuals, test procedures, and training materials.
- Conducting thorough research of technical design specifications, interface designs, diagrams, and test specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Gathering and synthesizing essential source materials, such as relevant specifications, engineering documentation, and drawing packages.
- Collaborating on the layout and design of technical content to enhance clarity and user experience.
- Partnering with systems analysts and programmers to create and refine application and systems documentation, user manuals, training courses, and procedural guides.
- Assisting in preparing proposals and technical reports, working closely with project managers.
Here's what our ideal candidate has:
- 6+ years of professional experience in a technical writing role.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MS Word, and Visio.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.
