Technical Project Manager

Salary / Pay Rate: $60/hour W2 (no overtime; 40 hours/week)

Our client is a forward-thinking company in the financial wellness and employee benefits space, helping individuals gain access to essential goods and services through innovative purchasing solutions. They are currently seeking a Technical Project Manager for a six-month contract to support a high-impact internal applications portfolio.

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead projects from end to end within a hybrid Agile environment, collaborating with both onshore and offshore teams. If you're a confident, flexible communicator who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys balancing structure with creative problem-solving, this could be a great fit.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:
  • Leading technical projects from initiation through delivery, managing stakeholders, third-party vendors, and cross-functional teams including product, QA, and architecture.
  • Coordinating daily stand-ups and scrum ceremonies, tracking dependencies, mitigating risks, and maintaining alignment across onshore and offshore resources.
  • Communicating clearly and effectively with executive stakeholders, providing regular updates on timelines, KPIs, and project milestones.
  • Using Agile practices to manage in-house application development and enhancements, applying a practical, non-rigid approach to Scrum.
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of project tools, templates, and processes, adapting to shifting priorities as needed.

Here’s what our ideal candidate has:
  • Proven experience managing the full SDLC in Agile or hybrid Agile environments.
  • 5+ years as a Technical Project Manager working with cross-functional and offshore teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including reporting to executives.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and other ALM tools.
  • A proactive, flexible mindset with the ability to pivot and lead with clarity when processes are evolving.
