Pay: $30 per hour
Location: Hybrid in Duluth, GA
Our leading global manufacturing client is looking to add an experienced Supply Chain Engineer to their team!
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the materials team through idea generation and implementation of supply chain optimization.
- Managing supplier performance & development, transportation, material flow, and inventory.
- Collaborating with materials, logistics, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering teams.
- Providing resolutions of supply chain risks, analyzing root cause, and driving sustainable avoidance of recurrence.
- Developing and implementing standards for materials management, process landscape, supplier performance, and infrastructure to adhere to global strategies.
- Negotiating and driving critical situations to the company supplier base Support the implementation of SAP ERP in different sites by liaising with IT and local process owners.
- Maintaining performance metrics, logistics & transportation standard processes, and inventory costs.
- 30% travel related to supplier environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- 2+ years of experience in international logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or engineering.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment. Direct experience with Agriculture, Machines, Automotive, T2, AutoParts, etc.
- Ability to communicate internally with cross-functional teams as well as suppliers.
- Experience with process improvement, leadership, and negotiations.
- Knowledge of ERP Systems (SAP highly preferred).
