Sr. Oracle DBA

Location: Atlanta, GA (1-2 days/week, onsite)

Salary: $115-125k + bonus

One of our top clients, an industry innovator, is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator in Atlanta, GA. This position is looking for a self-starter, with strong communication skills, who is able to work in a dynamic team environment, and on multiple projects.

Here's what you'll be doing:
  • Managing Oracle databases, performance, and security.
  • Developing PL/SQL triggers and procedures.
  • Implementing Ansible playbooks for infrastructure.
  • Ensuring high availability using Data Guard and GoldenGate.
  • Supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Troubleshooting and collaborating within a dynamic team.

Here's what our ideal candidate has:
  • 7+ years of hands-on the keyboard Oracle database experience. Must have a robust understanding of Oracle core concepts including infrastructure and architecture
  • 4+ years with RAC, DataGuard, and GoldenGate
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL tuning, and scripting.
  • Strong knowledge of database backup and recovery.
  • LINUX and shell scripting skills.
  • Cloud Experience (AWS or Azure)
  • Automation Experience (Ansible or terraform)
