Sr. Data Scientist

Location: Remote - must be local to Atlanta, GA or Alpharetta, GA

Type: Contract through 2024

Pay: $70 - $90/hour

Our client, a leading global company in the fintech space, is looking for a Sr. Data Scientist to join their team. In this role, you would be working on one of their mission critical teams dealing with identity protection, fraud prevention, or financial crimes.

Here's what you'll be doing:
  • Creating and implementing models that solve business problems
  • Manipulating and integrating large data sets
  • Providing knowledge on latest effective predictive modeling techniques
  • Building prototypes for production-ready applications
  • Managing and deploying models in a public cloud environment

Here's what our ideal candidate has:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years of experience in data science or data engineering
  • 2 years of experience building Machine Learning algorithms like regression models, Bayesian methods, neural networks or other such methodologies
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python, R, and SQL
  • Public cloud experience with GCP and/or AWS
