Sr. Software Engineer
Location:Â Remote in the U.S. (must reside in Eastern or Central time zone)
Type:Â 12-month Contract
Compensation:Â $56.99/hr W2
Our client, a major, global leader in secure, high-volume transaction processing, is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join their team. This is a high-impact role in which your work on zero downtime, fault-tolerant systems will directly impact millions of transactions daily, forming the backbone of global commerce.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Designing, coding, and deploying critical applications in a highly regulated, high-risk environment
- Working across all stages of the SDLC
- Creating, utilizing, and maintaining documentation throughout the development process
- Demonstrating a continuous improvement outlook and providing suggestions for improvements and best practices
- 5+ years of experience in the high-availability operating environment with hands-on experience working with HP NonStop/HPNS or similar fault-tolerant platforms
- Hands-on experience designing, coding, and deploying applications using COBOL and C
- Proficiency in TAL (Tandem Application Language) or similar low-level systems language
- Familiarity devloping software in an Agile environment
