Cybersecurity Engineer

Pay:$135,000-150,000

Location: Onsite in Cedar Park, TX

Our client is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to ensure regulatory compliance and improve cybersecurity measures.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:
  • Conducting security risk assessments and audits.
  • Leading security strategy and data protection initiatives.
  • Addressing and resolving cybersecurity incidents.
  • Simplifying security data for reports and stakeholders.
  • Enhancing cybersecurity operations with new tools and processes.
  • Collaborating with business leaders on security risk solutions.
  • Managing risk and compliance issues across the organization.
  • Developing contingency plans, business continuity strategies, and disaster recovery efforts.
  • Maintaining a centralized dashboard for cybersecurity risks and statuses.
  • Integrating and maintaining CMMC 2.0 standards and certification.

Here’s what our ideal candidate has:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 6+ years in IT with a focus on cybersecurity and compliance.
  • CISSP, CISM, or similar.
  • Knowledge of NIST-800, SOC, GDPR, SOX.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and NIST-800 framework.
