Location: 
Remote in Atlanta or D.C. areas

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their team! This role is crucial for understanding and defining business technology needs, driving solutions, and improving business processes. The position is remote, with a preference for candidates located in the Atlanta or DC area.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business technology requirements, analyze existing processes, and propose enhancements. You will develop comprehensive documentation, ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions, and assist in business readiness plans. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with Agile methodologies, and excellent communication abilities.

Here's what you'll be doing:
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to comprehensively understand business technology requirements.
  • Analyzing and document existing business processes, proposing enhancements to boost efficiency and productivity.
  • Developing comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional/non-functional requirements, use cases/user stories, and supporting diagrams/mock-ups.
  • Working with architects and developers to ensure proposed solutions align with business needs and design principles.
  • Providing valuable feedback to developers on software usability and functionality.
  • Assisting in developing business readiness plans, including communication, training, and go-live strategies.
  • Ensuring seamless traceability from requirements to design, testing, and implementation phases.
Here's what our ideal candidate has:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a relevant discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with an analytical mindset.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse team members and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, software development lifecycle, and user interface design.
