Job Description
Our client in the logistics and transportation industry is looking for a driven ERP Implementation Manager to join their team! This is a transformative opportunity to lead the organization’s large-scale technology & modernization shift, providing the strategic structure and execution expertise needed to navigate a complex, multi-year Oracle implementation.
Location: Hybrid in Evansville, Indiana (50% onsite, 50% remote). Candidates must be local to the Evansville, IN area.
Here is what you will be doing:
- Lead the company’s large-scale business transformation and modernization initiative from inception to completion: Implementation of Oracle ERP and its modules including Asset Management, CPQ, EPM, SCM, and Procurement.
- Drive project management practices to support the Oracle rollout in an environment currently without an existing/formal PMO.
- Establish project management processes and structure in an environment without an existing PMO.
- Coordinate with external implementers to ensure the project remains on schedule across all identified phases.
- Oversee the integration of complex modules such as Digital Customer Service, Document Recognition, and Fusion Sales into the existing business infrastructure.
- Navigate the challenges of a brand-new ERP environment, serving as the primary lead for get-it-done execution.
Here is what our ideal candidate has:
- 7-10+ years of experience as an ERP Manager, Implementation Manager, IT Project Manager, or similar role.
- Proven track record of successfully running complex, enterprise-level Oracle ERP implementations.
- Extensive experience leading massive business transformation and modernization projects for organizations new to ERP systems.
- Deep functional knowledge of Oracle modules such as ERP, SCM, OTM, and Fleet Management.
- Ability to apply project management frameworks to high-stakes environments without an existing/formal PMO.
- Strong leadership skills capable of managing a multi-year project timeline and diverse stakeholder groups.
- Expertise in managing third-party implementation partners and technical consultants.
