Our client is a government entity dedicated to enhancing community services and driving innovation through strategic technology initiatives. They are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager III to lead critical projects that align with their ambitious three-year transformation plan. This role involves managing projects from initiation to implementation while mentoring junior project managers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Managing the full project lifecycle, including scoping, planning, implementation, and post-implementation support.
Leading projects in community development and systems integration, with a focus on Accela and enterprise applications.
Utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies to ensure project success while adapting to the needs of each project.
Preparing formal documentation, including requirements, system specifications, and solicitation materials.
Collaborating with vendors, procurement, and internal stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives.
Here’s what our ideal candidate has:
A bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 10 years of progressive experience in project management, including enterprise application implementation.
Proficiency in Workfront and experience managing projects with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to mentor junior team members.
