Payroll Tax Analyst
(6-Month Contract)
Location: Dayton, OH (Hybrid – 3 days onsite/week)
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Tax Analyst to support payroll processing, tax compliance, reconciliations, and payroll tax issue resolution. This role requires strong ADP and Workday experience, with expertise in multi-state payroll tax regulations.

Required Skills
- 5+ years of Payroll Tax experience
- ADP Workforce Now (WFN) and ADP SmartCompliance
- Workday experience
- Multi-state payroll tax compliance
- Payroll tax reconciliations (GL and tax liability accounts)
- Payroll processing
- W-2/W-2c processing and tax amendments
- Resolution of payroll tax agency notices and audits
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills
- Process payroll and ensure accurate tax withholding and filings
- Manage multi-state payroll tax compliance and reconciliations
- Research tax law changes and implement required updates
- Resolve payroll tax issues, agency notices, and audit requests
- Process retroactive tax adjustments and W-2c corrections
- Partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, and IT to ensure compliance
- Identify process improvements and maintain payroll tax procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field OR Associate's degree with 5+ years of payroll tax experience
- CPP or FPC certification is a plus
