IT Change Manager

Our client in the utilities industry is looking for an IT Change Manager to join their team!

Location: Alpharetta, GA (5 days onsite per week)

Pay: $70-80/hour W2

Here's what you'll be doing:
  • Driving the entire change management process for our IT services and infrastructure, from policy development to implementation and review.
  • Leading our Change Advisory Board meetings, where you'll review, prioritize, and approve changes.
  • Ensuring every change is properly documented, evaluated, approved, and communicated to relevant teams.
  • Assessing the potential impact of changes on our IT environment, identifying and mitigating any risks.
  • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align changes with our business objectives.
  • Keeping a close eye on change requests, making sure they are completed on time and meet business needs.
  • Keeping everyone informed about upcoming changes, including any system downtime or maintenance schedules.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date change log to track the status of requests, approvals, and outcomes.
  • Documenting all processes and lessons learned to support future initiatives.
Here is what our ideal candidate has: 
  • 10+ years of experience in IT change management
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement IT changes.
  • Strong understanding of the ITIL framework and its best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with change management tools like ServiceNow or BMC Remedy.
  • Certifications such as ITIL Foundation or other relevant Change Management or Project Management certifications.
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
