Our client is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join their team!
This person will be playing a key role in the development of cutting-edge solutions, while leveraging the latest technologies. This position will be a mix of hands-on coding, mentorship, guiding the team through the development life cycle, and ensuring the implementation of effective DevOps procedures, including automated builds, deployments, and performance testing.
Here's what you'll be doing:
Participating in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, documentation, and support.
Designing, building, and maintaining high-performing, reusable, and reliable code.
Transforming business requirements, designs, and wireframes into technical requirements and producing high-quality code.
Leading proof of concepts (POCs), design sessions, pair programming efforts, and code Katas.
Mentoring junior team members and actively teaching best practices and new technologies.
Conducting interviews and assessing technical talent for potential hires.
Working directly with QA Analysts and Engineers to ensure proper tests are designed for high-quality products.
Troubleshooting and resolving production issues, including direct interactions with internal and/or external customers.
Here's what our ideal candidate has:Â
8+ years of application development experience or equivalent skills in C#, .NET/.NET Core.
3+ years of Azure cloud experience.
Experience with Test Driven Development/Unit Testing, Typescript, ES6, and Web API/Rest.
Experience with Visual Studio, GIT, and Azure DevOps, Azure ServiceBus or similar.
Strong organizational and process analysis skills.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
Working knowledge or experience with Agile Methodology, Asynchronous Programming, Azure Data Bricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure PAAS, Browser Compatibility Testing, Cosmos DB, Dependency Injection, Entity Framework & LINQ, Microservices, and Python.
