Infrastructure Architect

**On-Call Rotation:** This role will likely not be on call but may be consulted for architectural advice.

**Compensation:** $115k - $125k 

**Interview Process:** 
- Initial 30-minute Teams
- Onsite interview

**Description:**
The Senior Infrastructure Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting global infrastructure services. This role involves leading complex projects, including detailed design creation, analysis, implementation, and ongoing support. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Data Center Networking, routing, switching, wireless access, SD-WAN, firewall controls, security infrastructure, and more.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Design and implement large-scale enterprise WAN, SD-WAN, LAN, WLAN, and data center technologies.
- Continuous improvement of network monitoring and observability capabilities.
- Management of core services such as DHCP, DNS, IP address Management, and Load Balancing.
- Define architecture and hardware requirements for project proposals.
- Lead network refresh projects and divisional expansion projects.
- Design and manage network capacity and performance.
- Evaluate opportunities for network performance improvement.
- Integrate automation into the network environment.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert and provide consulting support.
- Produce and maintain accurate engineering documentation.
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity organization on security assessments.
- Maintain effective communication with all relevant stakeholders.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5-8+ years of experience in Networking as an infrastructure or networking architect.
- Expertise in network design, including routing, switching, MPLS/VPN, WLAN, SD-WAN, etc.
- Experience with Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Firewalls, Load Balancers, and other relevant technologies.
- Strong understanding of data networking, encryption protocols, and network security.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with cloud networking, preferably Azure or AWS.
- Experience in the technology, supply chain, logistics, or freight forwarding industries is a plus.
