IT Sales Project Manager

As an IT Sales Project Manager, you will lead multiple technology initiatives that directly support sales operations and customer-facing business functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a project management professional who enjoys partnering with cross-functional teams, driving projects from concept through execution, and delivering meaningful business outcomes. You'll work closely with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Pricing, IT, and external vendors while helping modernize technology that enables commercial success.

As an IT Sales Project Manager, you will lead multiple technology initiatives that directly support sales operations and customer-facing business functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a project management professional who enjoys partnering with cross-functional teams, driving projects from concept through execution, and delivering meaningful business outcomes. You'll work closely with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Pricing, IT, and external vendors while helping modernize technology that enables commercial success.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Lead multiple concurrent IT projects supporting sales operations, customer experience, pricing, CRM, and commercial technology initiatives from planning through successful delivery.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, risk logs, and status reporting while ensuring projects remain on track for scope, timeline, and cost.
- Collaborate with business leaders, technical teams, and third-party vendors to define requirements, manage priorities, resolve issues, and drive stakeholder alignment.
- Monitor project risks, dependencies, resource allocation, and financial performance while providing proactive recommendations to leadership.
- Support project governance by maintaining documentation, facilitating meetings, coordinating rollout activities, and contributing to continuous process improvement within the PMO.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of IT project management experience leading cross-functional technology initiatives in enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting Sales, CRM, customer experience, pricing, ERP, marketing technology, commercial systems, or order-to-cash processes.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery approaches.
- Excellent communication, organizational, budgeting, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence teams without direct authority.
- Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- PMP or CAPM certification is preferred but not required.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is highly desirable.
- Manage approximately 3–5 concurrent projects supporting commercial technology initiatives.
- Work closely with business, IT, vendor, finance, marketing, pricing, and field operations teams.
- Standard Eastern Time business hours are required regardless of geographic location.
- Candidates should have a dedicated home office environment with reliable hardwired high-speed internet and the ability to participate in video meetings throughout the workday.
