One of our top clients, an international financial leader, is searching for a Level 1 Help Desk to join their team. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity and will be fully onsite in Portland, ME, Tuesday-Saturday 3pm-1130pm EST. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your computer skills while earning a highly competitive $21/hour.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Monitoring dashboards, and alerts (80%)
- Handling issue calls and facilitating escalations (20%)
- Triaging alerts using a tiered system
Here's what our ideal candidate has:
- 2+ years in Helpdesk
- Basic PC hardware knowledge (configuring/troubleshooting), as well as concepts of computer operations.
- Basic knowledge of Networking including networking principals
- Strong organizational, problem-solving and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred qualifications (not required):
- CompTIA + Cert or related
- Windows OS experience
- Previous financial/banking industry experience
