Financial Product Owner
Our client in the supply chain industry is looking for a Financial Product Owner to join their team! This role will be supporting a financial/accounting module within an enterprise-wide software product.
Location:Â 100% Remote. Candidates local to EST or CST are preferred.
Compensation:Â $115,000 - $130,000 annual base salary
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Leading the design and improvement of financial modules and processes (purchase, sales, order management) that are a part of a larger supply chain software product.
- Maintaining a prioritized product backlog, writing clear user stories, and driving Agile ceremonies.
- Collaborating with Engineering, Design, and business teams to deliver high-quality products.
- Developing and communicating a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with company objectives.
- Ensuring accurate period-end financial reporting and enabling real-time cost tracking/margin analysis within the platform.
- Serving as a product liaison, keeping all stakeholders informed and aligned on progress.
 Here is what our ideal candidate has:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a product owner, product manager, or technical business analyst in a software product development environment.
- Experience with Agile methodologies is required.
- Must have experience with process accounting or cost accounting modules/products.
- Experience or knowledge of the supply chain industry and its specific financial workflows (e.g., cost accounting, process accounting, inventory) is preferred.
