Software Engineer - Data Insights & Workflow Specialist

Location: St. Louis, Missouri 

Here’s what you’ll be contributing:
  • Integrate Diverse Information Streams: Consolidate disparate performance metrics (e.g., development cadence, project iteration results) from various reporting interfaces, manual tracking sheets, and visual analytics platforms into a cohesive and easily consumable format.
  • Formulate Actionable Intelligence: Collaborate with technical leadership to translate empirical data into practical improvement plans. Aid in constructing the "progress narrative" pertaining to overall engineering efficacy.
  • Provide Technical Workflow Facilitation: Extract pertinent datasets, build interactive dashboards, generate concise reports, and refine key indicators to drive continuous enhancement. Work under close supervision to ensure alignment and clarity in all data-driven efforts.

Here’s what our ideal candidate brings:
  • Programming Languages:
  • Python
  • Java
  • Database Technologies:
  • Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Data Visualization / Business Intelligence Tools (experience with any of the following):
  • Familiarity with leading data visualization platforms (e.g., those similar to Looker Studio, Tableau)
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical capabilities for data interpretation
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in translating complex metrics into understandable stories
