Mechanical Engineer - Various Levels
Compensation: $90K - $170K
Location: Onsite Cedar Park, TX
An alternative energy company that's building distributed power generators is looking for Mechanical Engineers (various levels) to join their team. These are hands-on roles in which you'll be working on a mission-critical, heat engine project with the unique opportunity to see the product through from start to finish.

An alternative energy company that's building distributed power generators is looking for Mechanical Engineers (various levels) to join their team. These are hands-on roles in which you'll be working on a mission-critical, heat engine project with the unique opportunity to see the product through from start to finish.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Designing, building, and testing hardware components
- Communicating with suppliers on product requirements
- Collaborating with manufacturing team
- Monitoring engine tests and gathering data
- Validating hardware and conducting performance evaluations
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 1-10+ years of professional experience working as a Mechanical Engineer
- Strong knowledge of Thermal Sciences such as Heat Transfer
- Hands-on experience with design, surface modeling, and utilizing 3D modeling software (Siemens NX)
- Hands-on experience with simulation software (ANSYS)
- Prior experience working with engines (automotive, turbines, or propulsion systems for spacecraft)
