Senior Automation QA Engineer (Wi-Fi / Networking)

They are seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer to play a critical role in ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of next-generation Wi-Fi and networking products. This position offers the opportunity to work hands-on with embedded systems, cloud integrations, and large-scale automation frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams in a fast-paced, highly technical environment.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Design, build, and maintain robust automated test solutions using Python and modern automation frameworks to validate router firmware and connected devices
- Develop automation coverage for firmware lifecycle scenarios, networking functionality, Wi-Fi performance, security features, and system stability
- Integrate and execute automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines, partnering closely with DevOps teams to troubleshoot failures and improve reliability
- Analyze test outcomes, isolate defects, classify root causes, and work with engineering partners to drive timely resolution
- Continuously enhance automation efficiency by reducing flakiness, improving execution speed, and optimizing lab and resource utilization
Here’s what our ideal candidate has:
- Strong hands-on experience with Python-based test automation, preferably using Robot Framework or similar tools
- Exposure to AI/ML-driven tools or platforms used in test automation, analytics, anomaly detection, or quality optimization (hands-on experience or practical application preferred)
- Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, IPv6, routing, and modern Wi-Fi standards (Wi-Fi 6/6E/7)
- Experience testing embedded or hardware-based systems, including Linux environments and SSH/CLI interaction
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, Git-based version control, and automated pipeline execution
- Proven ability to debug complex issues, analyze logs, and collaborate effectively with both local and distributed teams
