Senior Program Manager
Our client in the financial services industry seeks a highly capable Senior Program Manager to join their team in St. Louis, MO.
Location: St. Louis, MO (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Compensation: $67-$71/hour W2
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Spearheading the management of highly complex, cross-functional programs and strategic initiatives, encompassing full lifecycle from budgeting and planning to execution and operational oversight.
- Driving the design and implementation of strategic business initiatives.
- Leading program execution and strategy across diverse functional areas, significant Business Units, regions, or the entire organization.
- Implementing comprehensive risk management, establishing and governing the identification, mitigation, and escalation of risks and issues.
- Defining and enforcing program controls and governance frameworks, including processes, procedures, reporting, and policies.
- Planning, monitoring, and managing internal projects and programs, from initial identification through successful execution.
- Securing necessary resources and apply formal processes and tools to effectively manage project/program resources, budgets, risks, and changes.
- Directing change management efforts and influence the strategic trajectory of programs.
- Making strategic decisions in complex situations, guided by policies, to achieve customer, operational, and project goals.
Here is what our ideal candidate has:
- 7+ years of technology planning/program management, Release Train Engineer, Program Manager, or Scrum Master experience.
- Proven experience in managing complex programs involving extensive change management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience forecasting and planning resource requirements for complex initiatives.
- Experience in building and managing medium to large delivery functions using Agile methodology or managing an entire business pillar portfolio with a supporting team.
- Experience with program governance structures.
