Pay: $35-40/hour
Our client, a financial industry leader, is looking for an experienced Senior Aurora RDS MySQL Database Administrator. Want to work in both relational and NoSQL databases? Here is your chance! .This role is vital in managing, optimizing, and securing abMySQL databases and enhancing our MongoDB environments.
Here's what you'll be doing:
Managing, optimizing, and securing Aurora RDS MySQL databases.
Contributing to MongoDB environment improvements.
Troubleshooting and resolving database issues.
Implementing database security practices and compliance.
Collaborating on replication, sharding, and scaling efforts.
Every other week this role will need to provide after-hours support.
Here's what our ideal candidate has:
5+ years as a DBA working with NoSQL, MYSQL, and database replication. Candidates should also be strong in query optimization as well as database design principles.
Proficiency in MySQL, Aurora RDS, and MongoDB.
Preference for candidates with AWS, performance tuning, data modeling, and/or data security experience.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
